Mueller We Care

Being one of only a very few 24 hour emergency clinics in the Sacramento region, we frequently have injured, stray, or lost animals brought to us. Thanks to the generosity of many of those Good Samaritans and our clients we are able to provide care to these animals before transferring them to the appropriate animal control facility.

UC Davis

Mueller Pet Medical Center has been contributing to the UC Davis Animal Fund since its inception in 1994. We are proud to be a major contributor to such a valuable program that looks into new ways to provide better care for our four legged friends.

Our Senior Citizens

We are committed to encouraging and supporting our senior citizens having pets. We recognize the tremendous benefits, both physical and mental, of having furry friends. Because of this, we provide discounted fees for services to all seniors, sixty five or greater. This is just another example of our commitment to celebrate and encourage the human animal bond.

Pet Obesity Prevention Program (POPP)

If you are having difficulty keeping your pet slim and trim, please come in for a free consultation with our trained POPP Technician. Marissa will give you tips to make your life easier and your pet thinner, establish a weight loss program structured just for your pet, and provide that very important follow up support.

Service Animals

We continue to serve our community by supporting not only local service dog organizations such as Guide Dogs for the Blind but by providing top notch care to manage many of the local Law Enforcement K-9s.

Adopted Pet Vouchers

We believe in pet adoption!! When you choose to adopt a new four legged family member from a local shelter or rescue, you’re not only saving a life, but helping your community fight the ever increasing pet overpopulation problem. We would be honored to meet you and your new family member. We accept all Sacramento area shelter exam vouchers.

Sacramento Area Pet Charities

Mueller Pet Medical Center has been a huge supporter for many of the local pet related charities. We were the first recipient of the Sacramento SPCA’s Pet Humanitarian Award in 2003.

New Home Owners Outreach

We know that moving to a new location can be hectic. That’s why we mail out information welcoming all new homeowners to our area. No need to stress about where you’ll take the four legged kids, we are here for you.
